The Weekends is all about highlighting some of our stellar clients and the places we love spending our time off after service calls.

Started by Brothers Alan and Alex Morales roaming southern California, serving coffee from the back of a pickup, Civil Coffee soon found its home in Highland Park. As they begin another journey with their newest location in Downtown Los Angeles Fashion District we sat down at their first cafe to catch up over some of their coffee and food.

Wether it's highlighting stellar coffees from Mexico, partnering with local artists and designers, and mindfully tailoring their program wether that's using the Mahlkonig E65S GbW (Grind by Weight) or PuqPress at their locations.

So if you're stoping in for some coffee, chilaquiles, or a burrito don't forget that it's a good day to be Civil.
