Coffee Fest NYC Recap | The Rabbit Hole

Our first ever Coffee Fest is in the books! From catching up with old friends, making new ones, stellar food, radical bars, little sleep, and everything in-between. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing time. 

The day began with flying into NYC on a redeye from PDX and it was nonstop action till we were heading home Wednesday night. After a quick pitstop for some airport Dunkin Donuts, while waiting for our luggage, we crammed in a taxi and headed to the Javits Center in Hell's Kitchen.

From there it was go mode as we set up our very own Black Rabbit booth equipped with a Slayer Steam LP, Mahlkonig E80 Supreme, and Mahlkonig E65s Grind by Weight (GbW) for our espresso bar. For our back table we wanted to highlight the other side of cafe supplies we offer so we brought along our HeyCafe H1 All Around grinder and set up a pour over station with two medium Origami Drippers and Timemore Black Mirror scales.

Of course we wouldn't be Black Rabbit if we didn't bring an enormous amount of swag including our full lineup of stickers and a cooler full of our lime green Black Rabbit Koozies. Even after a full weekend of trades, swaps, and slaps, our cooler could still use sticker love. So if you happen to swing by the warehouse or see us around feel free to throw some stickers our way. 

We cant wait for y'all to see what we have in store for the next Coffee Fest stops as well as the rest of the Mahlkonig Tour across the US. Next stop, Chicago, but until then we want to give a huge thanks to every one of you and to NYC for being such a stellar time.
