Black Rabbit Service is looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as Dispatcher for the Los Angeles area. We pride ourselves on being a customer service forward company while providing high-quality equipment repairs and sales. Our Dispatcher plays a critical role in the daily operations of our business.

 Qualifications 

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in the coffee industry
  • Basic computer skills (Gmail, Quickbooks, Google Docs, Excel, etc.)
  • Compose emails in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
  • Basic knowledge of coffee equipment and accessories
  • Basic knowledge of how to prepare coffee and espresso drinks
  • Understand the roads and highways in the Los Angeles and Southern California service area

 Work Environment 

  • Work will be done at our service shop in Hawthorne, CA: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Primary responsibilities: Answer phone calls and emails, interface with customers, prioritize and coordinate scheduling of service calls, and receive shipments
  • Help organize and tidy the service shop
  • Greet customers who come in for pick-up orders or have meetings

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to work at a desk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, and climb a ladder
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Perform repetitive motion with hands, wrists, and forearms
  • Use a hand truck and pallet jack

Compensation

  • Salary - $20 + DOE
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation (accrued) and sick time
